SHRINE Series

2018 - ongoing

SHRINE is a series of projection animation installations onto recycled/reclaimed materials, investigating the significance of one's personal history and its relationship to the present. Every day, people leave behind trash, ghosts, and memories. When things are no longer desired, who claims the leftovers as an offering? 

Watma Buddhist Temple was the initial starting point for the series, and details about this project can be found here

Eternal Belonging was constructed as a part of an MFA Thesis in the University of Connecticut's Digital Media and Design department. For more information about the installation and the 2020 MFA Show it was a part of, please click on the image of temple door below.
